Bob started his hearing health care profession with Nationally acclaimed James Rogers, who founded Rogers Hearing Solutions in 1975 on the North Shore of Boston .
Mr. Rogers believed that along with the science of fitting hearing aids, the most important thing was superior patient service. Forty year later his tradition still continues.
In the year 2000, Massachusetts passed a law requiring a license to practice Hearing Aid Dispensing. Bob was awarded license #64. In the same year, Bob sat for his National Board Certification and holds certificate #5556.
In 2001, Bob started his own hearing aid practice, Bob’s Better Hearing in Middleton, Massachusetts and had thousands of successful hearing aid fittings.
Bob also served on the board of the Massachusetts Hearing Society and was Secretary of the organization for three years.
The International Hearing Society recently honored Bob at their convention in Orlando for 15 years of continued service and support.
The Starkey Hearing Foundation has given Bob numerous “Angel Certificates” for helping on hearing missions and continuing to serve the needy at his office in Port Charlotte, Florida.
After several years of extremely snowy and icy Boston winters, Bob decided to follow his snowbirds in a permanent move to Florida. One of the hearing aid specialists who apprenticed under Bob now takes care of the patients at the Middleton office in Massachusetts. Bob says that he misses the patients very much, but not the weather.
In March 2016 he will celebrate his first anniversary with Bob's Better Hearing of Southwest Florida. He now holds Florida Hearing Aid Specialist License #AS 5032
